The Ruckert Report - Week 2

Long Island's top split end hauled in his third touchdown of the season over the weekend verse Sachem East High School. The Ohio State 5-star commit snagged a 5-yard touchdown pass in the back of the North Endzone, resembling Antonio Homles Super Bowl toe-drag full extension catch.

In Ruckert's week two performance he caught three catches, including his 5-yard touchdown reception, kicked four extra points, earned half a sack, and sealed a block for his teammate to score inside the redzone. The split end's teammate, Conway also pulled in a touchdown reception for 16-yards and added three rushing touchdowns as Lindenhurst dropped 34 points on Sachem East.

Lindenhurst defeated Sachem East 34-13, improving their record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs are currently in a three-way tie for first place with William Floyd and Connetquot. All three Suffolk Division 1 teams are 2-0. According to Newsday Large School Poll rankings, Floyd is ranked No. 4, followed by No. 6 Lindenhurst and No. 8 Connetquot.

Ruckert has a total of 7 catches for 158 yards and 3 touchdowns on the season, ranking third among Long Island Receivers.

The Lindenhurst Bulldogs (2-0) hosts Longwood (1-1) Friday night, under the lights at 6PM.
