The Ruckert Report

The Ruckert Report has all eyes on the Ohio State Buckeye commit. Heading into his Senior season at Lindenhurst High School, Ruckert looks to shatter his statistics as an underclassman. In 2014, as a Freshman, Ruckert hauled in 44 catches for 506 yards and his career high 10 Touchdowns. As a sophomore, in 2015, the Bulldog pulled in a career-high in two categories, with 60 receptions and 830 yards, while scoring 7 touchdowns. Ruckert capped off last season (2016) with 57 catches and 794 yards, including 7 touchdowns.

The six-foot five-inch tall Lindenhurst Bulldog announced his commitment to Ohio State University over the summer, on July 17, 2017. While still wearing the Green and White, the Senior has goals of leading his No.2 seeded Bulldogs to the Long Island Championship Game to conclude his High School Football Career.

Ruckert, a two-time Newsday All-Long Island selection, showed off his hands, speed, and kicking abilities in week one verse Northport High School. After catching a zero pass, the Ohio State commit dodged past defenders on his way to a 60-yard plus touchdown. He also had an additional touchdown reception, a field goal, a sack and a forced fumble.
